One person was transported to the hospital after a fire early Wednesday morning, according to an Allegheny 911 dispatcher.

Crews responded to 721 Lorenz Ave. in Pittsburgh’s Elliott neighborhood shortly after 3:50 a.m.

Tribune-Review news partner WPXI reported there was damage to an awning above the front porch and broken windows on the second floor.
