2 men injured in Hill District shooting

Pittsburgh police are investigating a shooting in the city’s Hill District on Aug. 15, 2019.

An overnight shooting in Pittsburgh’s Hill District left two people injured, police said.

The incident happened just after 2 a.m. Thursday in Terrace Hill Village, near the border of West Oakland.

Public safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz said officers responded to the 100 block of Oak Hill Drive and found two male victims.

One of the men was shot in the abdomen. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The second man was grazed by a bullet and did not receive medical treatment. He was alert and talking, Cruz said.

Police retrieved two guns at the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
