Someone is $3 million richer thanks to a winning scratch-off ticket that was sold at a North Fayette Township convenience store, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The person who bought the ticket wasn’t identified, but the winning Diamond Dazzler ticket was sold at the Circle K on Market Place Drive, according to lottery officials.

The store receives a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket. A store manager declined to comment about the winning ticket Friday.

The lottery didn’t say when the ticket was sold, but the winner recently claimed the prize, said Ewa Dworakowski, the Pennsylvania Lottery’s press secretary.

The lottery doesn’t know where winning instant tickets are until they are claimed, she said.

Diamond Dazzler is a $30 game, and $3 million is its top prize. The chance of winning $3 million is 1 in 1.2 million.
