AHN opens new cancer treatment center in Robinson
The Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute has opened a new oncology treatment center in Robinson.
AHN Cancer Institute – Robinson replaces AHN’s previous clinic location on Church Hill Road in Robinson and expands the center’s patient care capacity and the number of on-site physicians and support staff.
The nearly 6,000-square-foot facility is located on Steubenville Pike has been designed and renovated to offer patients more convenience and comfort. It has 12 infusion treatment bays and five exam rooms, including one triage room and one procedure room.
AHN oncologists Dr. Christie Hilton and Dr. Jason Stepp will care for patients at the center, assisted by nurse practitioner Beth Bachowski.
AHN works closely with the nearby Weirton Medical Center in a number of medical specialties including cancer care, and operates an additional infusion center at Weirton.
The new cancer center is part of a $300 million investment in cancer services by Highmark Health and AHN that includes a new academic cancer center at Allegheny General Hospital and multiple new comprehensive community-based cancer treatment facilities.
The facility, located at Three Robinson Plaza, Suite 430, 6600 Steubenville Pike, is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
