A third Allegheny County Jail inmate has tested positive for covid-19, according to updated information on the county’s website.

The inmate is among 11 inmates and 15 staff members who have been tested for the disease, according to the county.

Of those, three inmates and one staffer have tested positive.

The jail is awaiting test results for one inmate and five staff members. The others who have been tested didn’t have covid-19, the jail said.

The news comes a day after jail Warden Orlando Harper said an inmate who died at the jail didn’t appear to have covid-19.
