Allegheny River Boulevard will be closed to a single lane through March 27, PennDOT announced Monday.

The road will be reduced to a single lane from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. as crews from Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority clean inlets along the road between Washington Boulevard and Nadine Road.

Flaggers will control the traffic through the work zone.

The same section along Allegheny River Boulevard was closed for a time Friday after heavy rains in the area caused the road to flood. Nadine Road also closed on Friday. It reopened Saturday.
