The Roberto Clemente Bridge will close for two hours Saturday — from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. — as part of a mile run through Pittsburgh.

The Department of Public Works announced Wednesday that Cupid’s Charity was granted a permit to close the bridge for the Cupid’s Undies Run.

The runners are encouraged to run in their underwear or “try out a costume, tutu, or onesie … but keep it PG-13.”

Cupid’s Charity is raising money to find a cure for neurofibromatosis, a genetic tumor disorder.

The charity has raised nearly $90,000 locally ahead of Saturday’s race. Runs will be held in nearly 40 cities this month.

The race itself launches from McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon on the North Shore at noon. The run will go until 4 p.m. Registration costs $45.
