A crash involving a Port Authority of Allegheny County bus and a pickup truck snarled traffic Friday afternoon near the Highland Park Bridge in Aspinwall, initial reports indicate.

Dispatchers received a report of a two-vehicle accident between the bridge’s exit toward Freeport Road about 5:50 p.m., an Allegheny County 911 shift commander said.

There do not appear to be any injuries, according to initial reports.

A vehicle “made contact” with the front of a Route 91-Butler Street bus headed toward Pittsburgh along Freeport Road near Western Avenue, Port Authority spokesman Adam Brandolph said.

Police and medics responded.

No one had been taken to a hospital as of shortly after 6 p.m., the 911 shift commander said.

No further details were immediately available.
