Tyrone Jackson, 18, of Duquesne was recently arrested in connection with a Pittsburgh shooting.

A Duquesne man is charged with attempted homicide and other crimes for allegedly shooting a man in Pittsburgh’s Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood.

Tyrone Jackson, 18, was arrested Thursday and remains lodged in the Allegheny County Jail unable to post $10,000 bond, according to online court documents.

He’s charged with criminal attempt-homicide, carrying a firearm without a license, recklessly endangering another person and two counts of aggravated assault.

Charges stem from an incident March 24.

Pittsburgh police responded to a ShotSpotter alert for multiple shots fired shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the area of Brighton Road and Lecky Avenue.

Authorities said a man arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds to his lower body. The victim was reported to be in stable condition.

Jackson’s preliminary hearing’s scheduled for June 24 at Pittsburgh Municipal Court.
