Extras sought for 'I'm Your Woman' scene being filmed on the South Side

Movie directors are seeking extras for a scene that will be filmed for an Amazon movie next month in Pittsburgh’s South Side.

People 18- to 49-years-old are being requested for a “high energy” 70’s nightclub action scene for the upcoming feature-length film “I’m Your Woman,” starring Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and Marsha Stephanie Blake (When They See Us), according to a press release from Mosser Casting.

Shooting for the scene will take place overnight on Nov. 12 and people will be asked to show starting around 4 p.m., though some will be asked to show up on Nov. 11 and Nov. 13.

The directors are looking for people to play the parts of nightclub patrons, poker players, bouncers, wait staff, bartenders, police and detectives.

The scene will require extras to be comfortable with loud noises, atmospheric smoke, large crowds and chaotic action (running, jumping and ducking), according to the release.

Those wanting to become extras are asked to know their sizes for fitting.

Men are encouraged to grow their hair and facial hair, while women are encouraged to arrive in their natural hair color.

Those interested are asked to send a current picture to mosserextras@gmail.com and to add name, age, place of residence and which date(s) they are available for work. No hats or sunglasses allowed in submitted photos. Also inform the agency whether you are comfortable with smoking an herbal cigarette.

The film is also shortlisting for other roles being filmed in the area.
