Five injured in Forward Township crash

Five people were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Forward Township on Friday night, according to the Gallatin Sunnyside Volunteer Fire Department.

Three of the patients airlifted to the hospital, according to the department.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. on the 200 block of Bunola River Road. The car flipped on its side, landing next to railroad tracks, according to the department.

There were six people in the car, one of whom was uninjured.

The cause of the crash and the severity of the injuries have not been reported.
