Fox Chapel Area High School junior Rajeev Godse rearned a perfect score on the Advanced Placement (AP) Statistics Exam.

A local student is one of only two across the globe to earn a perfect score on the Advanced Placement (AP) Statistics Exam.

Fox Chapel Area High School junior Rajeev Godse received a top score of 5 — exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 5 — and earned every point possible on the test.

His achievement is “so superior that it falls into a very select category,” said Trevor Packer, the College Board’s senior vice president of AP and instruction.

Godse took the exam in May of 2018, among 222,501 other students from around the world.

“Rajeev is an incredibly intelligent and talented young man,” district math teacher Antoinette Payner said.

“Not surprisingly, he picked up the material quickly, was helpful to his peers and has a natural curiosity for learning.”

Payner described the feat as amazing and said Godse is a top student in her AP Statistics class.
