Allegheny Health Network released dates for covid-19 testing at the network’s mobile clinic and drive-thru locations.

Because of increased demand, patients must be experiencing symptoms to receive a test at an AHN site, officials said. AHN recommends that asymptomatic patients — including those who believe they’ve come in contact with someone who has tested positive — quarantine for 14 days.

Appointments are not required at the AHN Mobile Clinic. The clinic will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations and dates:

  • Monday, July 27: Shop N’ Save plaza in the Hill District (1850 Centre Ave.)
  • Tuesday, July 28: City Hall Building in Clairton (551 Ravensburg Blvd.)
  • Wednesday, July 29: Hazelwood Family Health Center in Hazelwood (4915 Second Ave.)
  • Thursday, July 30: Duquesne Elementary School in Duquesne (300 Kennedy Ave.)

Patients must have a physician’s order and appointment to be tested at an AHN drive-thru location. The following sites will operate from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

  • AHN Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion in Wexford (12311 Perry Highway)
  • AHN Bethel Park Health + Wellness Pavilion in Bethel Park (990 Higbee Drive)
  • 4220 William Penn Highway, Monroeville PA 15146
  • The former Divine Providence/Kindred Hospital in Pittsburgh (1004 Arch St.)
  • Heights Plaza Shopping Center in Harrison (1828 Union Ave.). This location operates only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • AHN Braddock Urgent Care Center (501 Braddock Ave.). This location will operate from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Testing results usually take three to five days to return, depending on the regional testing volume. As volumes increase, wait times for results may be longer. Individuals will be contacted directly with their results.

AHN recommends that while awaiting test results, individuals should stay home. Those who receive positive results may be issued additional care orders or calls to self-isolate.
