Pittsburgh police are investigating after a man was found shot dead in an SUV in the city’s Hazelwood neighborhood.

Josiah Battle-Davis, 26, of Pittsburgh, was found dead on the 200 block of Glenwood Avenue just after midnight Friday, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office.

Tribune-Review news partner WPXI reported Battle-Davis had at least one gunshot wound, and there was a bullet hole in the driver side window of the vehicle.

Neighbors told WPXI the SUV had been parked and running on the street since Thursday afternoon.

Further details were not immediately available.
