A man was shot and killed in McKeesport late Wednesday, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office.
Niko Dawon, 31, of McKeesport, was shot in the 1200 block of Soles Street just before 11:30 p.m.
He was taken to UPMC McKeesport, and died about an hour later, according to the medical examiner’s office.
A 24-year-old woman was grazed in the leg by a bullet. Paramedics treated her at the scene and she was released, according to Allegheny County Police.
McKeesport police responded to the initial 911 call. Allegheny County Police are investigating.
