Allegheny County police obtained a search warrant for Laquon Perkins, 18, left, and Laron Howard, 19, both of Swissvale, in connection to an Oct. 9 home invasion and homicide in Penn Hills.

Two suspects in the Oct. 9 killing of a Penn Hills man were arrested Friday in California, police said.

Laron Howard, 19, and Laquon Perkins, 18, who are brothers, were arrested at 2:30 p.m. by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies in Lancaster, Calif., according to Allegheny County police.

Both men are charged with homicide, burglary, robbery, and criminal conspiracy. Howard faces a weapons violation.

Howard, Perkins and a third man yet to be identified by police are suspects in the home invasion in the 7200 block of Lawton Street in Penn Hills where Aaron Evans, 35, was shot and killed, police said.

The men were tracked to California by Allegheny County sheriff’s deputies, according to police. They will be extradited to Pennsylvania, police said.
