Officials in the Elizabeth Forward School District said they are working to ensure safety following a disturbing letter written by an elementary student, WPXI reported.
Police were notified after a student at William Penn Elementary School compiled a list of other classmates to harm.
There were about 20 children on the list.
Principal Brad Simala alerted families by phone whose children were on the list and a letter was sent to all students saying that police and school safety officers are working to keep the building safe.
“See something suspicious, say something,”
This is the letter sent out to parents at William Penn Elementary School after a student wrote up a list threatening to harm classmates.

Simala encouraged parents to reinforce with their children if they “see something, say something.” The district earlier this year implemented the Safe2Say Something program, mandated by state law, through which students, staff or district residents can submit anonymous safety concerns through a website, app or phone line.
