A Penn Hills man is accused of repeatedly raping and beating two young girls, police said.

Christopher Musgrove, 32, faces 12 felonies and two misdemeanors related to the incidents.

He was charged in early August.

One of the alleged victims was 6 years old. The other was 11.

The 11-year-old girl was abused for five years, according to a criminal complaint filed against him. The 6-year-old was raped up to 20 times in a two-month span.

Musgrove forced the girls to perform various sexual acts with him, according to the police. He also beat them with a cellphone cord and back scratcher, authorities said.

The Tribune-Review does not identify alleged victims of sexual assault.

His charges include two counts of raping a child, two counts of involuntary deviate sex with a child, two counts of corruption of a child, two counts of endangering the welfare of children, among others.

Musgrove is being held on a $150,000 bond at Allegheny County Jail. He is scheduled to be arraigned Downtown on Oct. 24.
