Skaters, skateboarders, bicyclists and even some walkers gathered Thursday for a “Roll for Floyd” event for anti-racism.
The peaceful protest began under the Bloomfield Bridge in Pittsburgh before traveling through Lawrenceville, the Strip District and Downtown Pittsburgh before making a stop at the Polish Hill Bowl Skate Park.
The remaining protesters made their way back to the Bloomfield Bridge where they blocked traffic in one direction and shut down the intersection at Liberty Avenue before making a loop through Lawrenceville, Garfield and Bloomfield to return back to where they started.
