Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Liberty Magic @ Home set for finale

The magic ends Friday.
It’s the final Liberty Magic @ Home series. The episode starts at 7:30 p.m. via the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s Facebook and YouTube channel.
The finale of this first season will feature Jade Tjin, who goes by Jade, and Asi Wind for an evening of free, virtual magic.
According to a news release, Jade, an illusionist, became the first woman to win the International Brotherhood of Magicians’ Gold Medal of Magic.
She has performed around the world and won the “Female Magician of the Year” award from the International Magicians Society in Las Vegas.
Jade, based in San Francisco, has appeared on CBS’ “Late Late Show” and CW Network’s “Penn & Teller: Fool Us!”
Wind is a New York City-based mentalist. He won the Merlin Award for the most original show. A Tel Aviv native, he was voted “Best Magician in Israel.”

The event will be hosted by Zoe Ruth, venue manager of Liberty Magic, Downtown Pittsburgh.
“We are looking forward to celebrating 10 weeks of innovative online programming full of laughter and magic with them,” Ruth said. “Both magicians challenge the traditional stereotypes of what a magician looks like, sounds like and acts like, helping us to imagine new and different ways to see magic as a tool for storytelling.”
