Pittsburgh police are searching for a McKeesport man wanted on a slew of charges related to an Aug. 1 shooting outside a Strip District restaurant, authorities said.

Treysaun Lockett-Tillman, 21, shot a man multiple times on the sidewalk across Penn Avenue from the Savoy Restaurant, police said in a criminal complaint.

Police haven’t named the man, but in an Aug. 3 interview at his hospital room, he said he was “95% sure” it was Lockett-Tillman who shot him when shown a photo array.

The man told police he attempted to intervene in an argument between Lockett-Tillman and a woman.

Lockett-Tillman reached into a vehicle and pulled out a handgun and starting shooting the man. After the man fell to the sidewalk, Lockett-Tillman stood over him and shot until the gun was empty, according to the criminal complaint.

The man was in critical condition in the hospital, police said.

Three other people who watched the dispute were trying to leave the area when Lockett-Tillman got into the driver’s side back seat of their vehicle, pointed a gun at the driver’s head and told him to start driving.

The driver and other passengers instead got out of the vehicle. Lockett-Tillman threatened them again. The driver threw the keys at Lockett-Tillman and he drove away. The driver left a cellphone behind, and police used it to locate the vehicle later that morning in Edgewood, according to the criminal complaint.

Police also reviewed footage from inside the Savoy to identify Lockett-Tillman, according to the criminal complaint.

Lockett-Tillman is 6 feet 1 inch tall with a thin build, weighing 160 pounds, according to police. Anyone with information about him should call police at 412-323-7800.

Lockett-Tillman is facing charges including attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, robbery of a motor vehicle and carrying a firearm without a license.
