A 23-year-old Carrick man remained at large Monday, wanted on charges in connection with a Thursday shooting of two teens during a robbery in Carrick, police said.

Cody Smith, 23, is wanted on charges including attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery.

Another man, Desmond Michael Jones, 20, no address listed, is charged with robbery and conspiracy and a third man hasn’t been identified yet.

The alleged victims told police that Smith, Jones and the third man, followed them in the 2000 block of Dellrose Street in Carrick, and told them to empty their pockets.

The teens were both shot, one in the neck and the other in the shoulder, police said. They were in stable condition at local hospitals, according to police.

One of the teens identified Smith as the shooter from a photo lineup, police said. Jones was found sleeping on a couch at Smith’s mother’s home in Carrick as police were looking for Smith, according to a criminal complaint.

Anyone with information about Smith are asked to call Pittsburgh police at (412) 323-7151.
