Allegheny County Police are seeking a 23-year-old East Liberty man who they said spit on a manager at the Edgewood Giant Eagle grocery store this month.

Brandon Thompson is accused of terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment and other charges in connection with an April 1 incident at the store on South Braddock Avenue.

Edgewood police responded to the store after an argument between Thompson and the store manager over a money order.

Thompson paid $50 for a money order but then demanded one be written for $100, police said.

Thompson is accused of threatening employees and then spitting in the manager’s face before leaving.

Anyone with information regarding Thompson’s whereabouts is asked to call the county police tip line at 1-833-255-8477.
