Pittsburgh reopened the Grant Street entrance of the City-County Building around 10 a.m. on Thursday on Oct. 17, 2019, after a crew finished temporary repairs to one of the glass entrance doors. Somone smashed the glass overnight.

The Grant Street entrance to the City-County Building was closed for several hours Thursday morning while a public works crew made temporary repairs to a glass entrance door that someone smashed overnight.

Police said they were checking surveillance cameras with hopes of identifying a suspect. The vandalism occurred between 6 and 11 p.m., police said.

Visitors were directed to the Ross Street entrance to the Downtown building. Pittsburgh reopened the Grant Street entrance around 10 a.m.
