A man was in stable condition after being shot in Sheraden early Sunday morning, according to Pittsburgh police.

Police said officers responded to reports of a person being shot in the 3100 block of Chartiers Avenue around 1:35 a.m.

Officers found a man outside who had been shot in an arm. Police said the man told officers that people in a black SUV pulled up and started shooting at him before fleeing toward Windgap.

The man was taken to a hospital.

Police reported no arrests had been made.
