Pittsburgh police are asking for the public’s help to find two suspects wanted in connection to the robbery and assault of a 59-year-old woman on Pittsburgh’s North Shore.
The suspects, a male and a female, are accused of assaulting the woman at about 5:45 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Isabella Street, Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesman Maurice Matthews said.
The location of the assault was near Sandusky Street, a short walk from The Andy Warhol Museum as well as the Seventh Street Bridge over the Allegheny River.
Few details were immediately available regarding the assault or injuries that the woman suffered.
According to police and surveillance video, the male assailant was wearing all-black clothing except for his copper-colored shoes.
The female was wearing a Puma sweatshirt during the robbery, then changed into a Baltimore Ravens sweatshirt, Matthews said.
Officials asked anyone who can identify either of the two people in the surveillance footage posted at the top of this story to call detectives at (412) 323-7201.
Callers can remain anonymous.
