A suspect in a Braddock shooting surrendered to police after a two-hour standoff Thursday, said Allegheny County police Inspector Andrew Schurman.
Braddock police responded to the call at about 1:30 p.m. to the 500 block of Talbot Avenue, where the shooting victim was found and transported to the hospital.
The suspect gunman went into an apartment building and Allegheny County police and its SWAT responded and the man surrendered at about 3:40 p.m., Schurman said.
The identities of the men involved were not released. The man who was shot suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Schurman said. He was struck in the ankle.
