A section of Broadlawn Drive in Elizabeth will be closed from June 20 through October for a $760,340 improvement project, Allegheny County’s Department of Public Works said in a news release.

The road will be closed from just east of Ridge Road to about a half-mile west of Greenock Buena Vista Road so new steel pilings, a concrete support wall, drainage repairs, paving and safety improvements can be made.

Traffic will be detoured using Ridge and Greenock Buena Vista roads. The work will be done by Pugliano Construction Co. Inc., Pittsburgh.
