Negroni Week runs through June 30, with proceeds of some sales benefitting Pittsburgh Cares.

Pittsburgh Cares will benefit as you imbibe a tasty cocktail this week.

Five establishments are sharing part of the proceeds of Negroni Week with the nonprofit.

Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse is part of the fundraising pour on June 26; Wigle Whiskey Distillery takes its turn on June 28.

Drink up and do some good at Grapperia, Market Street Grocery and Mimi’s Modern through June 30.

Each June, participating bars and restaurants sign up to mix classic Negronis — a mix of gin, sweet vermouth and Campari, garnished with an orange peel — for a charity.

Since Imbibe Magazine and Campari launched Negroni Week in 2013, it’s grown from about 120 to almost 10,000 participating venues around the world. To date, they have collectively raised about $2 million for charitable causes, according to the event’s website.

Pittsburgh Cares works to provide volunteer opportunities for adults, youth, businesses and nonprofit organizations.
