One lucky person walked out of a McCandless grocery story with a winning lottery ticket worth $5 million.

The ticket for the Tuesday Mega Millions drawing was purchased at Giant Eagle in McIntyre Square along McKnight Road.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 10-50-55-56-58, but not the yellow Mega Ball 15. The $1 Megaplier option was purchased, upping the prize from $1 million to $5 million.

Giant Eagle will get $10,000 as a selling bonus.

The winner is advised to sign the ticket and call the lottery office to file a claim before the ticket expires in one year.

Officials said because no jackpot-winning ticket was sold for the May 21 drawing, Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot will be an annuity value of $393 million, or $244.2 million cash.

Mega Millions is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C. and the Virgin Islands.
