One person’s lost items could become another person’s treasure.
The Pittsburgh International Airport’s annual auction for lost and found items is once again underway. This year’s auction is online.
Online bidding has begun for thousands of items, including used airport maintenance equipment, decommissioned vehicles, jewelry, electronics and more.
The airport said bidding closes in waves beginning at 5 p.m. Monday.
All of the items can be viewed on the Joe R. Pyle Auctions website. Over 1,000 items will be auctioned, and there are currently 432 items on the site.
According to the auction site, all sales are final, and there will be no exchanges or refunds. There is a 15% buyer’s premium on all purchases.
People can purchase the items with cash, credit cards or checks payable to Joe R. Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service. Payment must be made in full before picking up auction items.

- A Cartier women’s watch
- Louis Vuitton hat
- Ford vehicles, including police interceptors
- PlayStation with controller
- Apple watches
- Apple pencils
- Apple tablets and computers
- Apple iPhones
- Microsoft tablets and computers
- Kindles and Nooks
- Samsung tablets
- Samsung cell phones
- Airpods and headphones
- Jewelry
The airport said abandoned vehicles aren’t part of this year’s auction.
Anyone who wishes to view the regularly sized items in person can do so from 1-5 p.m. Friday at the Joe R. Pyle warehouse at 1490 W. Chestnut St. in North Franklin.
Any equipment items like snowplows, trucks and cars can be viewed in person from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Pittsburgh International Airport’s Heavy Equipment Building on Cargo Road, off Business I-376, the airport said.
