Officials have identified two men who on Friday were found dead in their vehicle after it crashed into a structure in Pittsburgh’s Larimer neighborhood, Pittsburgh police said.

Police said that first responders found two unconscious men in the vehicle that had crashed in the 200 block of Carver Street.

Both men had sustained gunshot wounds, according to Pittsburgh public safety officials.

Police were alerted to the incident shortly before 7 p.m. and medics pronounced both men dead at the scene.

The county coroner identified the men on Saturday as Terrance James Ray Allen, 26, of Pittsburgh and Antonio Smith, 27, of McKeesport, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

The detectives from the police department’s violent crimes unit are investigating the deaths.
