Pittsburgh police released photos Sunday of a person of interest in the Friday afternoon shooting in Downtown Pittsburgh.

Two people were wounded in the incident, which took place on a busy section of Penn Avenue between Ninth and 10th streets.

On social media, police said they are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man pictured in the three photos.

Police responded to the shooting just before 4:25 p.m.

Anyone with information should call Violent Crime Unit detectives at 412-323-7161.
