Pittsburgh police are looking for a man in connection with a reported assault on July 1 at a bus stop Downtown.

The suspect is described as being between 35 and 45 years old, 6 feet tall and 185 pounds, with short hair, glasses, and a beard.

Police said the suspect, who was reportedly drunk and disorderly, harassed people at a bus stop near Smithfield Street and Sixth Avenue before kicking a man without provocation.

The victim told police that he asked the suspect to leave him alone. He stood up to move away when the suspect hit him twice in the head with a glass alcohol bottle and threatened him with a pocket knife, according to police.

The victim was taken to the hospital with two cuts on his head.

The suspect fled down Smithfield Street toward Fifth Avenue.
