Materials about getting organized are available at Hampton Community Library.

Hampton Community Library will be closed May 14 for Recycle Rama, the township event scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon in the Hampton Community Park and community center parking lot.

The library’s programs include:

The Organizing Myth, 6:30 p.m. May 17. Join Stephanie Smith from A Space for Home and learn how to conquer clutter, once and for all. The program is in Activity Room 2 of the community center. Registration is appreciated but not required.

Murder by the Book! A Mystery Book Discussion, 6:30 p.m. May 18, featuring “The Guest List” by Lucy Foley. Request a book online or call the library for a copy of the book. Everyone who is interested in great reads is invited to join.

It’s a Wonderful World Drop-In Storytime, for children of all ages and abilities, starting at 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through May 19.

Betty’s Book Buzz Discussion Group, 1 p.m. May 20, with “The Exiles” by Christina Kline. Request a book online or call the library for a copy of the book. Everyone who is interested in great reads is invited to join.

Card Club, 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays through May 25. Card games are decided by majority rules.

Cooks-n-Books: Mexican Fiesta, 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 26. Check out a cookbook from the library, prepare a dish of your choice and bring it with the recipe to share. Sample all the amazing food. The event is in Great Room A of the community center, and there is a $2 fee to cover cost of supplies.

News & Views: The Post-Covid Edition, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 3. Journalist Gerry K. Smith talks about the pandemic’s impact on health, world turmoil, price of gas and more. All topic suggestions are welcome, as are new members. Join or just listen. Meet in Activity Room 1 at the community center.
