The Monroeville Christian Church will be holding a Bible study at 9:30 a.m. and Easter services at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on April 4.

Plum Clean-Up Week
Free registration is open for the Plum Clean-Up Week. The cleanup is from April 19 to 24.
Organizers will match volunteers with seniors, and they can coordinate the best times during the week to lend a hand with yardwork or various tasks around the house. Those volunteers are asked to use their own equipment and supplies.
Register to volunteer at plumboro.com.
Deadline for seniors to register is March 31. Deadline for volunteer registration is April 12.
Drive-thru pasta dinner fundraiser
Riverview Junior/Senior High School music department will host a drive-thru pasta dinner fundraiser March 28 from 3:30 p.m. until the food runs out at the high school, 100 Hulton Road in Oakmont.
The cost is $10 and includes pasta, sauce, meatball, side salad, breadstick and two cookies.
There will be eggs for children and a visit from a spring bunny.
More information is available at facebook.com/riverviewraiderband.
Borough building project
Plum council recently approved two new deals for its new borough building project along Old Mine Road.
Horizon Information Services will provide data cabling for about $97,000.
All Lines Technology will provide a network infrastructure and installation at a cost of $127,270.
Both are state contracts through COSTARS and did not need to go out for bid. Borough manager Michael Thomas said the work for both proposals will not take place for a few months from now. Awarding the contracts this early was because of the long lead time for some of the equipment due to covid, he said.
Drive-thru Easter story event
The Redeemer Lutheran church is hosting a drive-thru event to learn more about the Easter story March 27 from 10 a.m. to noon. The story will be presented via Exhibits. Each child will receieve a free bag of blessings.
No registration is required. Those interested can park in the church’s parking lot off Pennsylvania Ave., between 12th and 13th streets.
