Rustic Ridge benefit sale
The Plum Midget Football Association, Rustic Ridge Homeowners Association, Plum High School girls soccer team and Holiday Park Church of Christ have joined up to host a benefit yard sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 26 at Holiday Park Church of Christ, 1510 Abers Creek Road, Plum.
All proceeds from the sale will benefit impacted families through the Rustic Ridge Relief Fund maintained by Holy Family.
‘Welcome Back’ to PALS
Plum Area Ladies Society will hold its first meeting of the new season, with the theme “Welcome Back,” at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at Plum Community Center.
The speaker will be Lillie Leonardi from Books Bridge Hope, who will explain the mission of her organization. The service project for the month will be to provide the following new items for unsheltered adults served by Books Bridge Hope: hats, scarves and gloves; socks and underwear; soap, shampoo, deodorant, razors, moisturizers, lip balm, combs and hair ties; books to read; notebooks, writing supplies and stamps; and monetary donations to purchase backpacks.
The $25 annual dues are payable at the meeting.
The first Ladies Day Out event will be a tour and private tasting at Narcisi Winery on Sept. 17 at 10:30 a.m. Cost is $25, and lunch is extra.
PALS is a service and social organization open to women from Plum, Penn Hills, Monroeville, and surrounding communities. Newcomers are welcome to attend a meeting, held the first Wednesday of the month from September through April.

20th-anniversary celebration
Concordia at Ridgewood Place will host a celebration in honor of the location’s 20th anniversary with Concordia Lutheran Ministries from 3 to 6 p.m. Sept. 20 at 1460 Renton Road, Plum
Featured are a car cruise, live music from the Highlife Band, complimentary refreshments and open house, with tours available throughout the event. Food trucks will be on site.

Benefit golf scramble
Plum Competitive Cheer is holding a “Scramble Fore Cheer” golf outing fundraiser on Sept. 23 at Rolling Fields Golf Course, 4138 Hankey Church Road, Murrysville.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the scramble at 1 p.m. Proceeds help the cheer team raise money toward the national competition in Florida. Sign up at form.jotform.com/231984922628164.
