Touch-a-Truck canceled
Oakmont Lions Club’s Touch-a-Truck event that was planned for Oct. 3 has been canceled because of the pandemic.
Organizers said the need for extensive cleaning after each child would climb in and out of participating trucks, as well as potential crowd size, swayed them to cancel the event.
They said they hope to host the event in the spring.
