Plum criminal cases include burglary, stangulation

District Judge Linda Zucco recently handled the following cases. Charges were filed by Plum police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• David E. Saunders IV, 20, of New Kensington on charges of harassment, burglary, strangulation and two simple assault charges. Charges were filed March 24.

Waived for court

• Marlin D. Davis, 37, of New Kensington on charges of driving a vehicle while under a provoked or suspended license and two DUI charges. Charges were filed March 25.

• Juan F. Chavez-Umanzor, 40, of New Brunswick, N.J., on charges of causing an accident involving damages to an attended vehicle, driving without a license, having an open alcoholic beverage and two DUI charges. Charges were filed May 2.

• Joel M. Townsend, 27, of Plum on a DUI charge and careless driving. Charges were filed Feb. 26.
