Traffic, assault, drug cases recently handled in Judge Zucco’s Plum courtroom

Plum District Court Judge Linda Zucco handled these cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Charges were filed by Plum police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

Jonathan Blair Cumberledge, 38, of Kittanning on charges of improper passing, following too closely, careless driving, causing a crash that damaged an unattended vehicle or property, possession of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license and two DUIs. Charges were filed May 16.

Devonte Redon Conner, 27, of Verona on charges of making a false statement under oath, false identification to a law enforcement officer and retail theft. Charges were filed July 3.

Richard Benjamin, 29, of Plum on charges of simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Charges were filed Aug. 15.

Waived for court

Lily Rae Kastelic, 20, of New Kensington on charges of speeding, failure to stay in the correct traffic lane and three DUIs. Charges were filed June 25.

Marrissa Szczypinski, 23, of Fresh Meadows, N.Y., on charges of violating restrictions of alcoholic beverages and two DUIs. Charges were filed Feb. 23.
