A man is in critical condition after an early-morning shooting in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood, police said.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of Brownsville Road around 2:20 a.m. Sunday, where they found the man unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds, said Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesman Maurice Matthews. Officers rendered aid until EMS arrived and took the man to the hospital.

Police didn’t immediately have a suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
