Dollar Bank has resolved its network issues that caused its online and mobile banking services to go down Thursday night and resulted in direct deposits not posting until Friday afternoon, a bank official said.

“We apologize to all our customers for this inconvenience and appreciate their patience,” said Joe Smith, senior vice president of marketing for the bank, headquartered in Downtown Pittsburgh.

The issues started when the online system was running slow and the network problems caused the bank’s online and mobile applications to go down.

The problem was resolved and all accounts reflected their current balances by about 3:30 p.m. Friday, Smith said.

“We had a problem, we fixed it,” Smith said.

Dollar Bank has 70 branches in the region.
