Eric Trump coming to Washington, Pa. on Thursday
Eric Trump will visit Washington County on Thursday, Sept. 10 to campaign for his father during a “Make America Great” event.
President Trump’s campaign website has announced that Eric Trump will visit the American Legion Post 175 in Washington at 2 p.m.
The event’s doors open at 1 p.m. and spectators must register. According to the campaign website, only two tickets can be registered per “mobile number” and that “all tickets are subject to first-come first-serve basis.”
Legion manager Vicky Kupp said the campaign organization rented out the post’s outdoor pavilion for the event about a week ago.
She said campaign officials had not contacted the post with any further details.
Eric Trump’s visit will come a day following Vice President Mike Pence’s slated stops in Export and Freedom. President Trump rallied at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Unity on Thursday.
The events underscore the campaign’s emphasis on small towns that pushed Trump to victory in Pennsylvania in 2016.
