Items reported stolen from Pitt building
Electronics and clothing were reported missing from a building at University of Pittsburgh, according to campus police.
The burglary happened between 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. Monday at Bouquet Gardens Building J. A window had been left open. Police were trying to identify a suspect.

Pedestrian struck, injured in Penn Hills
A pedestrian was critically wounded Monday after being hit by a vehicle in Penn Hills, according to Allegheny County Police.
The collision happened at 6:40 a.m. near the intersection of Frankstown Road and Overbrook Drive. The man hit by the vehicle was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Police said the driver stayed at the scene. Anyone with information can contact the county police tip line at 1-833-255-8477 (ALL-TIPS).
Latest Downtown Pittsburgh crime report
Pittsburgh police made 15 arrests last week as part of an effort to boost patrols Downtown after what authorities said was an uptick in crime in that area. Officers issued 18 nontraffic citations between Oct. 7 and 13, according to statistics released by the department.
The arrests included people who had outstanding warrants and were related to incidents of drug possession, defiant trespass, public intoxication, robbery, aggravated assault and persistent disorderly conduct issues, police said.
The Downtown Public Safety Center High-Visibility Patrol started in July after three instances of stranger-on-stranger crime and an uptick in crime and disorderly activity in the central business district, police said. Authorities regularly release statistics about the enforcement.
