Pennsylvania Game Commission launches 'Call of the Outdoors' podcast

Country music star Blake Shelton and Outdoor Channel’s “Bone Collector” founder Michael Waddell are making guest appearances in the new Pennsylvania Game Commission podcast series, “Call of the Outdoors.”

The series, hosted by Game Commission marketing director and world turkey-calling champion Matt Morrett, will highlight wildlife, hunting, habitat and conservation across the state.

The first three episodes are being released during spring gobbler season and will feature some famous turkey hunters:

Episode 1: “We are Hunters, Our Heritage is Deep,” featuring Game Commission Executive Director Bryan Burhans is available now.

Episode 2: “Getting the Next Generation’s Hands in the Dirt,” with Blake Shelton, available on April 30.

Episode 3: “Can’t Stop the Hunt,” featuring Michael Waddell, will be available on May 7.

Episodes are available online via the Game Commission. Listeners also can subscribe and download podcast episodes on Apple podcasts, Google Play Store, Spotify and Stitcher.
