State police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck and injured a bicyclist Wednesday morning in Indiana County.

The cyclist, a 31-year-old Saltsburg man, was treated for moderate injuries at Indiana Regional Hospital.

Police said he was riding in the area of Rose Street and Robertshaw Drive, near the Hoodlebug Trail, when he was struck by a passing vehicle between about 7:20 and 7:50 a.m.

The dark-colored vehicle then fled. Police indicated it may have damage to the sideview mirror on the passenger side.

Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to contact Trooper Justin Kreutzberger at 724-357-1960.
