A 55-year-old Blairsville man was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment after being stabbed early Sunday.

Samuel Skinner was reported in stable condition at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he is being treated for a stab wound to his abdomen, according to police Chief Louis J. Sacco.

Police said Skinner was stabbed during a domestic altercation that occurred at 1:29 a.m. at a residence along West Market Street, Sacco said.

Natalie Livingston, 35, also of Blairsville, was arrested at the scene, police said.

Sacco said that Livingston is being held in the Indiana County Jail awaiting arraignment on charges of aggravated assault, harassment and simple assault.
