Eric Church’s 27-date Outsiders Revival Tour will land at The Pavilion at Star Lake on Saturday.

The Washington County venue is advising fans to arrive early, as they are expecting a large crowd with heavy traffic.

“We encourage carpooling and ride-share services, where possible, to cut down on delays and speed up entry,” Star Lake said.

They recommend arriving by 5:30 p.m., when the gates will open. The show is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Parking lots will open at 3 p.m. Early tailgate parking, which costs $50, runs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Those with premier ($85) or reserved ($120) parking passes will be queued separately for the 3 p.m. opening.

“Due to expected crowd, entry to parking lots is subject to concert ticket verification,” the venue said.

Getting to Star Lake, located in Hanover Township north of Burgettstown and a short distance off Route 22, has long been notoriously problematic at best and a disaster at worst.

People trying to get to the Dead & Company show there on June 5 reported being stuck in traffic for hours within a short distance of the venue. Many abandoned their cars on the side of the road, including parking on the freeway, and walked the last couple of miles to make the show.

Saturday’s show at Star Lake is the 10th stop for the Outsiders Revival Tour, which started April 14 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and will end Oct. 7 in Bristol, Tenn. The only other date in Pennsylvania is Aug. 26 at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Philadelphia.

Limited tickets for the Star Lake show were available from LiveNation.
