Two people were shot and killed Saturday night in Aliquippa in an incident state police said involved no other people.

Cynthia Zipfel, 43, of Aliquippa was discovered by police inside of her parked vehicle in a lot behind a building on Franklin Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. Police said Jalen Love, 26, of Aliquippa was found outside the car with a gunshot and later died at the scene from his injuries.

“There is no threat to the community and a ruling into this matter will be released at a later date,” the state police report said.
