Remains found earlier this year in Turtle Creek have been identified as a man reported missing in Pitcairn last year, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The skeletal remains were discovered May 23 in a wooded area near Lynn Avenue.

The medical examiner’s office on Monday identified remains as those of Justin Bianco, 32.

Bianco was reported missing May 26, 2021. Pitcairn police had said he’d last been seen by his family four days prior and “suffers from a mental illness.” He was last seen wearing blue jeans, brown boots and a blue dress shirt.

Allegheny County Police are investigating.
